3 free car parks with around forty spaces each are located near to Grande Saline reception desk (40 and 100 metres away) : once you have parked, follow the yellow steps printed on the ground, they will lead you to the Saline.

Practical informations
Guided tours only permit you to access to the underground gallery.
- Animals are not allowed. (except if they are carried and guide dogs)
- Time for the guided tour: about 1 hour followed by the free access to the salt museum.
- The timetable indicates the start of the tour, so it’s best to arrive around 10 minutes before.
- The temperature on the gallery is about 12°C, whatever the season.
- To get from one part of the site to another (reception room, underground gallery (access via 46 steps), then evaporation room), you need to be outdoors, so don’t forget to bring suitable clothing.
If you don’t speak French or if there’s no guided tour in English or in German the day you come, you can follow the French tour and download the visit corresponding to your language (8 languages available)

Adults
La Grande Saline welcomes groups by reservation, at least 6 weeks in advance. Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more (1 accompanying (1 accompanying adult for every 20 people). The underground gallery can be visited only with a guided tour.
School groups
We welcome school groups by reservation at least 6 weeks in advance. Group rates apply to groups of 20 students or more, with free admission for accompanying adults (1 accompanying adult for every 10 students). The tour lasts about 1 hour.
Disabled groups
We welcome disabled groups by reservation, at least 8 weeks in advance (specifying the audience and any special needs). Group rate apply to groups of 10 or more with free admission for accompanying persons. Visits can be longer, between 1h25 and 1h30. More information on the page dedicated to accessibility.
Languages and supports
From July 1 to August 31, you can enjoy guided tours in English at 12:30pm and in German at 1pm..
Off-season tours in foreign languages are available in groups and by booking at least 6 weeks in advance.. Throughout the year, guided tours are given in French, with adapted supports in several languages (written and spoken: English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese; written: Danish and Polish; spoken: Japanese and Chinese).

For groups of less than 20 people: €200 package for the foreign-language tour.
For groups of more than 20 people: the foreign-language guided tour is at €7 per person (1 accompanying adult for every 20 people).
